Test and Tune

Cruise-Ins    (April - October each year)

1st Saturday

  • NEW -- Open House 1st Saturday each month during cruise-in season at Performance Car Craft located at 103 Long View Circle in Alabaster, AL.  This is just a few miles south down Hwy 31 from the Alabaster Promenade Shopping Center. Starts at 11am.  Enjoy some BBQ and hangout - then around 4pm - everyone will cruise up to the cruise-in.  Call 205-216-3195 if you need some more info.
  • Krispy Kreme in Hoover (9am-noon) classic cars only
  • Alabaster Promenade Shopping Center  - near the WalMart and the DQ, just off of I-65 and Hwy 31 - Alabaster, AL. 5pm - 9pm
  • Hamburger Heaven on Hwy 280 B'ham, AL

2nd Saturday

  • Sonic in Trussville, AL 6-9pm
  • Old Town Clanton Cruise In - 6pm-9pm.  Held by the Chilton County Cruisers in Clanton, AL. Call 205) 755-3164 for more info.

3rd Saturday

  • Rail Road Cafe - located on Morgan Rd at Exit #6 on I-459 has a breakfast cruise-in.  It is  in the shopping center across the street from Wendys hamburgers  and to the Morgan Road side of Winn Dixie.    It is from about 7:30am  till 9am.   The food is good and reasonably priced.
  • LOCATION CHANGE - the cruise-in that use to gather at the Walmart in Springville, AL, 5--9pm is NOW at Northpark Baptist Church located at 5700 Deerfoot Parkway Trussville, Alabama.  This is a big one - better get there early
  • Columbiana, AL - downtown in the overflow lot on College St in front of Sweet Bobby.  Starts at 5:30pm.

4th Saturday

  • Wal-Mart Supercenter in Bessemer, AL - just off I 20/59 near Town & Country Ford  5-9pm
  • Walker Chapel Plaza in Fultondale, AL   I-65 north of B'ham   5-9pm
  • Wal-Mart in Sylacauga, AL 5-9pm

5th Saturday

  • NAPA Auto Parts in Bessemer, AL
  • Oneonta Cruise-In, Oneonta, AL  6-9pm

  • July 4th - River City Car & Truck Club presents the 1st Annual Car Show at Landing Ball Park in Demopolis, AL.  Entry fee = $10.  Contact Derreck Carter @ 334-341-0505 for more details.

 


 

  • July 18th - Southern Stang Mustang Club and Ernest McCarty Ford (located on Hwy 31 just south of Pelham, AL) are putting on a "Super Cruise-in" for Fords (must also be Ford powered) from 9am-3pm.  NO ENTRY FEE.  Music, door prizes, and top 10 awards.

 


 

  • October 3rd - Corporal John Belk III Memorial Show On Wheels 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Kiesel Park, Auburn, Alabama.  Proceeds will go to the Opelika Police Dept. Canine Division.  Entry fee is $20. Contact for more info:  Phone: 334 749-5264 Ext. 229

  • October 17th - Destiny Church in Cullman, AL will be putting on a car show to raise money for their building fund.  The show will be at the Cullman Fairgrounds from 9am-2pm.  $20 entry fee.  Contact carshow@dishmail.net for more info.
  • Nov. 7th - West Point High School located at 4314 County Rd 1141 in Cullman, AL - will be putting on a car show to raise money for their band program.  Entry fee $20.  Need more info - carshow@fansgalore.net

 Special Events - 2009
  • July 4th - Vettes for Vets will sponsor an event at Talladega Superspeedway.  YES - for a very small fee you can drive cars that can safely motor above 100 mph laps around this track.  Here' a website that you can get more info: www.Vettes4Vets.com
  • July 25th - Regional Cruise to Tupelo Auto Museum!   The Mid South Mustang Club  would like to invite all Mustang owners to meet us and seven other regional Mustang Clubs at the Tupelo Auto Museum on Saturday, July 25th!  The Tupelo Auto Museum is an outstanding museum of over 150 cars!  Due to the size of the event the curator has agreed to offer group rates to everyone that comes on this day so please come and invite your friends as well!  Museum entry fee group rate is $7.50.  Information about the museum can be found at http://www.tupeloautomuseum.com

    Everyone should arrive at the Museum between 10:30 and 11:00AM and you will need to provide your own lunch.  The museum as agreed to set up tables and chairs in the museum itself so we can dine among the cars!  Everyone will leave the museum between 2:00 and 3:00 PM.

  • August 1st - Road Rally and Men's Conference sponsored by the Cathedral at the Cross Church.  Road Rally:  Registration 8:00-9:00 and the Rally is 9:00am-12:00.  Lunch starts at 12 noon with the Men's Conference following.  Event is over at 2:30pm.  Registration  Road Rally (w/ lunch) $15,  Men’s Conference (w/lunch) $15, Both rally & conference: $25  Register on-line at www.mycotc.com or call 205-854-7777 for more info.
